So what makes PLR good in the first place? Well there are several things you can look at but they do not always guarantee good PLR. Price, Content, and availability. If the PLR is only available to so many people it is usually higher quality but this is not always true. If it is more expensive it can be seen as higher quality also and it usually is.

However the best way to determine if the PLR is any good is to look at the content itself. How is the grammar and sentence structure. Does it look like it was written by someone who is not a native speaker of English? Maybe it even looks like a bad translation? This does not always mean the PLR is bad it just means you will need to do a lot more editing in order for to become a decent product. Read through the content and make sure it actually has some value to it. Did you learn anything? Was there anything in it that might have been hard to find?

Only once you have gone through each of these steps will you know if you PLR is good at all or not. The downside is you usually can not get a look at all of this before you purchase it. The good news is regardless of the quality of the PLR you should be able to use it somewhere with a little rewording or editing, such as in an autoresponder or on your blog.

Do not be fooled though there are plenty of high quality PLR products out there that sell for less than a dollar and nobody knows about them so make sure you look around and don’t pass an opportunity up just because it costs less.
