Let’s face facts here… no one in their right mind wants to see poorly created graphics, it’s extremely unprofessional. When I say poorly created graphics, I don’t mean plain and simple graphics, sometimes they can work well.

I mean graphics that are low quality due to wrong file formats. Graphics that look like they’ve been created by a 5 year old are not acceptable either (so DON’T do ‘em yourself unless you’re good with Photoshop)

Even if the PLR owner did provide you with the best looking graphics on the planet, then you’d still need to get your own graphics for your own UNIQUE product, or at least edit the PSD files.

If you do go ahead and use the poorly created graphics that are provided with your PLR material, then you’re going to fail, simply because the customer is going to assume that your product is of the same quality.

If creating graphics isn’t your thing then hire a professional.

PLR Profitable Techniques Tip – The graphics make the package. The best PLR in the world will never get read if nobody gets past the crappy graphics. If you’re on a budget spend it on the graphics.

Continue from previous post Finding Good PLR

Now that you have your PLR you will want to take a closer look at what is inside of it. Read through the pages to the best that you can, depending on how bad the English is this might take a while, and figure out what is there. What is the content trying to convey? Find out the core purpose of the content that way it will be easier to make it your own.

This step isn’t really hard but I am sure a lot of marketers buy PLR content and never even look at it before they send it up, or even bother to have it grammatically corrected.

In the next lesson, we will talk about Re-Writing PLR. Stay tune.

This is the article that I’ve been waiting to get to for a long time; Private Label Rights. People just don’t realize the power of creating, or even buying a Private Label Rights package. Most PLR packages give you the right to do just about anything you like. Almost all of them, unless they are just articles packages, come with a sales page and all the extra stuff that you could possibly want. PLR packages are a virtual gold mine if you know what to do with them.

As I stated in my introductory article on rights, Private Label Rights, for the most part, are rights to a package where you can change the contents of the package, sell it for whatever you like, add other items to the package and so on.

Now, a lot of people think that what’s the point of buying a PLR package? If you’re going to go through all the work of taking the package and modifying it so much, why not just create your own product? Well, you certainly can do that if you think you can come up with something that will sell. But there a couple of reasons why buying a PLR package may be something that you’ll want to do.

1. Some people just can’t think of ideas. Let’s face it, not everybody has a creative nature. Plus, they may think of an idea but not know how to create content for it. Now, if they saw a PLR package being sold for the idea that you were thinking of putting together, well, the work has already been done for you. If you buy the PLR package, at the very least, you can read what’s in the package and get ideas from that. Maybe you don’t completely like what’s in the package. Fine. You now have the right to change whatever you don’t like. This goes for the sales page as well as the content.

2. Even if you can think of ideas, buying an established PLR package saves a lot of time. Think of all the hours you would spend creating the content and then putting together a sales page. With a PLR package that you purchased, all that time can be spent on promotional activities. And even if you do decide that you want to change a few things around, you’re still going to spend a lot less time doing that than creating a product from scratch.

Okay, so are we in agreement that maybe in some cases buying a PLR package is a good thing to do? I hope so.

But what about creating your own PLR package from scratch? Well, this is where the real power of these packages comes in. See, with a PLR package that you bought, let’s face it, many people out there probably have the same package. So the value of it, over time is going to diminish quickly. This is not to say that it won’t also happen with your own PLR package, but the difference is, when it’s yours and brand new, NOBODY else has it. So at the very beginning, you can sell these packages for an awful lot of money. Today, it isn’t unheard of for these packages to go for $97, $197, $297 or even $497 or more. The price of many of these packages is outrageous. And, if you want to make the package even more desirable, simply sell a limited number of them.

The things that you can do with your own PLR package are virtually limitless. The only limitation is your imagination. Just go on the Internet and look at all the PLR packages that are out there. There’s a reason that there are so many. They sell. Especially packages of articles. Why? Because content is so important to web pages. Without content, the Internet would virtually fade away and die.

So if you are thinking maybe that you don’t need or want to create your own PLR package or even buy somebody else’s, you might want to reconsider your position. PLR packages are some of the hottest sellers in the IM community. That’s where an awful lot of money is being made.

Isn’t it time you got a piece of that?

PLR. It’s THAT big.

When you first venture into Internet Marketing you will be blasted with offers to buy this or that on more than a daily basis. Your inbox will be full of the “latest and greatest, must have” products, including ebooks, software, newsletters, invitations to join blogs and membership sites.

Many of these products, especially ebooks, reports and sometimes software will come with ‘rights’ – all with names that can sound pretty confusing if you’re new to Internet Marketing.

Those rights can include:

Resale Rights (RR)

Resell Rights-often used interchangeably for Resale Rights (RR)

Master Resell Rights (MRR)

Private Label Rights (PLR)

Giveaway Rights (GA or GR)

Personal Use Rights (PUR or PUO)

Branding Rights (BR)

Royalty Rights

The kind of rights a product comes with will decide what you use it for.
Here are just some examples:

List Building

Membership sites

Small reports

Viral marketing

Selling offline

Your head spinning yet?

In the next posts, I will explain to you in detail about all these rights, showing you the various uses for different rights and hack away at some of the misconceptions, jargon and confusion surrounding resell and other rights.
